Big battles, powerful armies, and established empires vying for control makes for some really fun gameplay. Rome 2 undoubtedly has its issues.there are numerous and very ugly path finding bugs during siege battles, occasional massive performance drops that dont seem to make any sense, and the ever terrifying spaghetti lines that I feel like probably should have been fixed for this DLC (it would be really nice if spreading past a certain number of ranks deep was completely prevented like in Warhammer).īut the Empire Divided campaign has been a blast so far. I've played 50 turns into a Gallic Roman Empire campaign and a handful of multiplayer battles with Invicta so far, and I must say that I'm really enjoying the return to Rome 2 and historical gameplay.
